From your website and from your own additions. Depending on the plan, NexJu AI reads up to 30, 60 or 120 pages of your website and sorts the knowledge by topic. You check it, correct it and approve it. Only then does the assistant answer.

Yes, that can happen. The assistant is a language model: as a rule it answers correctly from your knowledge, but it can misunderstand a question. That is why it makes no binding promises, and it only quotes prices that are literally in your knowledge.

Yes, in two ways. On the “Try it” page in the app you test the assistant with your own website, without an account. The first seven days of your first subscription are also free: you set up and test first, then enter your payment details when you subscribe, you are only charged after the seven days, and we send you an email reminder three days before the trial ends. If you cancel before then, you pay nothing.

Then the assistant keeps running and answers as usual, up to three times your plan; after that, new visitors get the request form until the end of the month, and no request is lost. Only to prevent abuse, new visitors temporarily get the request form instead of the chat when there are unusually many conversations in a short time. Each further conversation that month costs 0.29 euros net plus 19 % VAT and is charged once, after the end of the month. You receive an email when you have used 80 percent and all of your conversation allowance, then after every 100 additional conversations, showing the charges so far.

The assistant sets no cookies and stores nothing in your visitors’ browser. We do not store the conversation history. Only a request that a visitor expressly sends is stored. The messages are answered by a language model from the provider Anthropic; in the process, data is also transferred to the USA.

Scope and features. Start answers questions and takes requests. Plus adds all languages, appointments via cal.com, PDF documents as knowledge, photos with the request and your own logo. Profi adds multiple locations, logins for staff and integrations such as webhook, Zapier and Make.

On the “cancellable monthly” option, yes: you can cancel in your account with a few clicks, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the month you have paid for. On the cheaper annual plan you commit for twelve months. You can cancel there at any time too; the cancellation then takes effect at the end of the term, and after that you can cancel monthly. On both options you pay every month, the assistant keeps running until the end, and you can withdraw the cancellation until that day.

On any website into which you can paste your own code. This works with WordPress, Wix with your own domain, Jimdo Creator, IONOS MyWebsite Now, Squarespace and Shopify as well as with your own HTML. Some plans have no field for custom code; the installation page says which ones.

Yes. Our plugin “NexJu AI – Website Assistant” is in the WordPress.org plugin directory: search, install, paste the line of code into its settings. The Shopify app has been submitted to Shopify for review; until it is approved you add the line of code to your theme, and the guide shows every step.

Only businesses, not private individuals. Only businesses based in Germany, through this website, the WordPress plugin or our app in Shopify; with the Shopify app, prices and billing run through Shopify.

For medical and therapy practices, pharmacies and care services, for law firms, notaries and tax advisers, and for financial and insurance advisers. In those fields visitors quickly write very personal things into a chat, and special rules apply that this product does not cover.

In German and English in every plan. From the Plus plan it answers in the language your visitor writes in. Your knowledge stays in German; the assistant translates its meaning.

Yes, with Plus or Profi and a cal.com account: the assistant shows available times from your calendar, and visitors book directly in the chat window. Without cal.com, it provides your booking link or phone number, or records the visitor’s preferred appointment as a request and makes clear that the appointment is not yet confirmed.

Yes. Your account runs in your browser and can be added as an app on your phone, tablet or computer. There you see usage, requests and statistics, change the knowledge and switch the plan. If you wish, your phone notifies you about every new request.

The setup overview shows nine steps in sequence; when you complete one, the next becomes available. Reading your website usually takes less than a minute. How long you need to check the knowledge depends on the size of your website.

Yes. During setup you conclude a data processing agreement with us. It is attached to the confirmation of your booking and always available in German at app.nexjuai.com/recht/avv. Wording for your own privacy policy is also available.
