Installation

One line of code. That is all.

You paste one line into the custom code field of your website builder. After that the assistant appears on every page.

The line

This is what the line looks like.

<script src="https://app.nexjuai.com/widget.js" data-kennung="YOUR-ID" defer></script>
Sample. You get your own line with your ID at the end of the setup, with a button to copy it.

Even easier with WordPress and Shopify.

  • WordPress

    Our plugin for WordPress

In WordPress, search for “NexJu AI” under Plugins, install and activate the plugin and paste your line of code into its settings. You do not change anything in the theme.

    In the WordPress.org plugin directory
  • Shopify

    Our app for Shopify

With the app you set up the assistant right in the Shopify admin and switch it on in your theme with a toggle, without a line of code. You choose your plan and price in Shopify; billing is handled there in US dollars.

Submitted to Shopify for review. Until it is approved, you add the line of code to your theme.

Your provider

How it works with your builder.

25 guides, each with a video, in English and German. Some plans have no field for custom code; installation is not possible on those plans. Each guide says which ones.

WordPress on videoEvery step with a real screen: search for the plugin, install it, activate it, paste the line of code. 84 seconds, no sound. For the other providers the video shows the click path as a diagram.

We have checked the route with our WordPress plugin ourselves in WordPress 7.1. The other steps come from the providers’ help pages, read in October 2026; we have not yet clicked through them in an account with each provider. As far as we know, the assistant cannot be installed on Google Sites; there the assistant remains available as a page of its own with link and QR code.

  1. Your web designer installs it

The account has the button “Create an email to my web designer”. It opens a ready-made email with your line of code and one sentence on where it belongs.

  2. Check whether it worked

The button “Check installation” looks at your home page and says in one sentence what it finds.

    • installed
    • wrong ID
    • nothing found
  3. The help assistant

It knows all guides and can check the installation on your website. If it gets stuck, it takes a message for us.

  4. Only on your domain

The assistant only runs on the domain you set it up for, with and without www. At any other address, the code remains inactive.

Step by step to your own assistant.
