What the assistant stores. And what it does not.
What happens technically when a visitor chats with the assistant, and which providers are involved. This is not a legal assessment; the contract texts are linked at the bottom of this page.
In your visitors’ browser
The assistant sets no cookies and stores nothing in the browser. A script from our server loads with your page; as with every request, the IP address is transmitted. The chat window only loads when someone opens it.
Conversations
We do not store the conversation history. It stays in the visitor’s browser while the page is open and travels with every new message, together with the path and title of the open page. Only counts and timestamps are stored, not content; we delete the timestamps after 400 days.
Requests
A request is only stored once the visitor has seen the summary, given consent and submitted it themselves. It stays in your account until the deletion period ends. You set the period between 30 and 365 days. Attached photos are kept in private storage and are deleted with the request.
The language model
The answers are generated by a language model from Anthropic. In the process, data is also transferred to the USA; processing cannot be restricted to the EU. According to the provider, the content is not used for training and is deleted within 30 days; in case of suspected violations of its usage policies, up to two years later. The answers carry a machine-readable marker as AI-generated.
Your data as a customer
Your account data, knowledge, requests and photos are kept in a database and storage in Frankfurt. Payment runs via Stripe; we do not see your payment details.
What you connect yourself
If you enter a webhook in the account, your requests are also sent there. You are responsible for these recipients yourself.
